Anyone done this yet for drag racing? If so, care to share belt routing and length? Don't want to reinvent the wheel and buy 8 belts if I don't have to.

Don't know about bypassing but be aware that the steering rack is not designed to be manual so if you get in trouble and have to steer you may have a problem

Just my opinion

If you are talking about an '03, then the hydraulic pump for the steering is also the pump for the power brakes. I don't think you want to go there.

Dont know if its been done on a 03 but the earlier 96-02 GTs and Cobras have done it many times. It requires swapping to Manual Brakes and a Manual rack.

Whoa.. thats ugly, didn't realize that. This is only a temporary track-only setup for getting max ET.. I'm ok w/ heavy steering since I'll have skinnys on.. no/diminished brakes is not an option. Any other input?
