Found something interesting today I just went from my bama 87 octane tune to a 91 octane tune and have been having issues with it dying at idle intermittently. Only happened with the 91 tune never the 87. Started to dig in and found that the preset idle in neutral for the 91 octane tune is 540 rpm. Yikes. Went in and sped the idle back up to around 900 and have not had the issue since. No codes were present either. Will be keeping an eye on it and updating but I thought this was interesting info that could save somebody a headache one day.

Back in the day when Bama tunes were common, they were the bane of most performance enthusiasts because of the multiple oversights, miscues, and just wrong assumptions made. You might be better served to pursue a different tuning path.
