Anyone else have this problem? I was sitting in traffic, in neutral, clutch in, waiting on a 70 Mach 1 w/ a healthy cam pull next to me so I could give him a big thumbs up, when I went to inch forward, the pedal never came up off the floor? Is this hte pressure plate or TOB thats broken?

Maybe your clutch cable broke? or disconnected somehow? The pressure plate couldnt lose all its tension like that. And the throwout bearing isnt going anywhere...it will just make noise.

Thats the best I can do right now buddy.

Sounds like maybe the TO bearing hung up some how. Maybe the bearing retainer for the input shaft broke or (don't know if this is possible) the TOB 'over traveled' off the end of the retainer. I noticed my clutch pedal feels like it is sticking a little when I release it if I push it all the way to the floor. Has anyone else noticed this?

Cable broke, the adjustable part at the tranny end was installed wrong and was operating inside the cable housing where it should not have been. DOH! Thanks for the replies guys!
