Well i would just like to say congrats to John for being the newest member of the 11 second club! John made 2 back to back 11 second runs..11.95 and 11.91 in 94 degree heat after driving with me from larocca's after i was done on the dyno.I myself would have been a member also if i didn't miss 4th gear and went 12.014 @ 114.66..should have been a low 90 or high 80..oh well next time i guess...John your cars is so close to mine it's scary..But i do have a small pulley i ca always throw on..LOL...anyways CONGRATS again John nice job!

John is the man, an 11.9x for, what, like $1,100 in mods? The boy can drive! Wait till it gets colder, we will see if he can chase down some heavy hitters.....

wht pulley you running,,how did tune go?

Nice job ! What were the 60ft, 1/8 et's and mph and the 1/4 mph??? Once again congrats!

thanx alot blwn03 - we had a great time last night, even with the 94 degree heat... =) you got a strong running car now, i told you you would love it!!that 12.01 run you did (missing 4th) probably would have been the best run of the night .. 94 mph in the 1/8th in 94 degree heat is moving..

anyway , i finally did it!!! like blwn03 said back to back 11's in 94 degree heat. no cool down what so ever. my first time running with bfg's. me and blwn drove over 2 hours in traffic with our a/c on , got to the track and ran 10 minutes later.
first run i was just getting a feel of the bfg's , i had no idea how they hooked . i came out to low , bogged badly 12.11 @ 117.9.
came back around... 11 minutes later (on the timeslip) obviouisly the car completely heat soaked by now. came out harder
1.87 60' 7.749 @93.10 11.950 @ 118.34 !!!!!!!!!!yea baby!!!
13 minutes later the car was frying in the sun and heat soaked like a mutha .. came out even harder
1.78 60' 7.706 @92.71 11.912 @ 118.05 !!!! bring on the cold weather!!!!!!
you can see how heat soaked the car was because i took a 1/10 off of my 60' and only 4/100 ths off my 1/4..the car wasnt pulling any more..but ill take those times !!=)

just for shits and giggles corrected those runs are:

11.38 @ 123.31
11.42 @ 123.62

not bad for $993 in mods and a mail order chip, huh?

Nice runs in the heat. Cold weather will only make better times. I can already picture your grin waiting for better weather. :D

Uncle Jimmy i am running the same pulley as you guys 2.93 makes 13.5lbs of boost and i also have the idler setup from amazon..dyno was VERY successful....457hp&478tq w/2.93 471hp&491Tq with the 2.76 obviously it too damn hot to run the smaller one but i will try in the cooler months.

1/8 mile et was 7.70 and mph was 94.12 on the best run with a 1.87 60'...better luck next time.

Awesome...With that 1/8 mile time anf MPH you definately whould run an 11...

Thanx Jimmy now all i have to do is get me the senior citizens discount on the heat exchanger....Can ya help me out with that!

Venomous what are your shift points ?? Also Blwn03 nice numbers which tunes are you guys running and what type of A/F? Both of you will be going deep into the 11's when fall air gets here!!!!

I have a Larocca's autologic chip A/f is at 11.6 with the 2.93 and 11.9 with the 2.76...2.76 has not been used yet though!

ill be honest with you, my shift points were speratic =). i was so shocked by the way the car grabbed with the bfg's that i was kinda anctious to get into the next gear and shifted to early. i shifted at like 6000 1-2 and 5800 2-3 and 3-4 . next time i go to the track , im gonna shift at 6000-6200 trying different shift points.i should have more in her, shifting higher..
i have diablo chip from Rick at Amazon , im not sure what my a/f is now cause i got a new tune since i dynoed. when i dynoed the car i put the chip in and immediately threw it on the dyno (0 driving cycles) and the air fuel was 12.1-12.2 i believe. and the car made 449rwhp and 466 rwtq. now i have a new tune and ngk plugs. im going to mustang magic on the 23rd to redyno, ill let you know how it goes..

Rick, I thank you for the awesome pulley setup....I love how easy it is to change the pulley.The 2.76 registered way more horespower and boost contrary to some reports of near identical numbers....I ran the 2.96 the night John and I went to Atco due to excess driving and heat..I had a custom tune done at larocca's and the tune is safe and reliable with both pulleys...2.96 being the rich tune and the 2.76 being optimum.Overall i would recommend your products to every 03 owner i know.Thanx again Jay
