Seems low to me..I would think you should run atleast 112.
I'd take it to a dyno..
I have seen before that the Off road pipes make these cars run too rich.something in the puter adds fuel..

svtman,
I think you are a little off for your mods. As a reference, here's my best run in my vert with no exhaust work/stock pulley:

R/T: .316
60': 1.974
330: 5.556
1/8: 8.467
MPH: 84.61
1000: 10.959
1/4: 13.050
MPH: 106.8

Don't really have any advice except maybe the tune?
Cheers,
Pete

What elevation is the track you ran at?

Your 60 ft looks ok, was it a bog or a spin, or neither?

Were there any other '03's there when you ran, if so what were they running?

Probably so, but I'm pretty happy considering my car is basically stock. With exhaust, I hope to drop to mid-12's. Ultimate goal will to be get into the 11's with the pulley/chip down the road. Gotta admit, this car is completely addictive...

Yes I was at Ennis last night. I have posted this around and the lack of backpressure seems to be common response. Well I will have the 2.80 and tune when Rick comes out to Ennis at the end of the month. I didn't see any other 03's that night to compare too. I'm hoping that my sacrifice up front will pay off in the end.

I always thought the supercharger was like the turbo on my wrx. The less back pressure the better?

Vert, catbacks and K&N filter. Spinning like a mofo 13.04 at 110 and a pooppile of 13.1s between 108 and 110. Our tracks out here are slick, and I'm a POS driver usually.
On my only 60ft time under 2 seconds I shifted 1-2-5 and was so pissed I just ran it thru in 5th and still ran 13.8 at 100.
Are you spinning or bogging?

No flaming here, but I would think you should be a bit quicker
and faster, so there may be something needing to be tuned.
My '03 coupe has zero mods (but it will soon, from Rick), so I
made 2 passes at Houston Raceway last night to get some
baseline info.
First one came out at 12.89 @ 109.8 mph with 60' time of 2.06,
and the second run yielded a 12.83 @ 110.3 with 60' time of
2.03. It was about 6 pm and the track was hot (yep, had to
feather out or spin!) and humidity was 95%. I am still running
the factory F1's, shifter, and air filter - did remove the snorkel.

No offense taken, I do know that I need more practice when launching. I was spinning when I launched. I also think a lack a back pressure may have something to do with it, because right now it doesn't seem as strong after putting the headers and O/X pipe on there.

svtman,
Very interesting. I have heard some folks opinion that headers and offroad X does drop a bit of torque down low while improving hp up high. I'm in the midst of an internal debate on whether to get headers or just a catback. Any experts care to comment?
Cheers,
Pete

I have been told that the TQ that I lost with the setup I have will more than pay for itself when I put the 2.80 and chip on it. When Rick comes down to ennis at the end of the month and tunes it I'll let you know the outcome.

I would sure hate to have to put a pair of high flow cats in there.
