Here's the graph, these are SAE corrected numbers, A/F done with the sniffer in the tail pipe. And sorry for the terrible quality but this is my dyno sheet that was taken from a digital camera.

And the breakdown of the numbers:

Only change was that the MAF sensor was cleaned.

MIN 196.9 345.6 11.8
AVG 371.2 461.9 12.6

I was really happy about the tq numbers but kind of disappointed by the hp. I was expecting around 480rwhp. Oh well....maybe it's time for a throttle body or something...questions? Comments? Concerns?

I think the low hp is due to the fact that the tq drops off so quick which most likely means that the Eaton blower is maxed out and being an inefficient little bitch :cuss:

I think this is typical of a lower pulley. With my mods, and only the 2.8 upper, I pulled 466 hp, 470 tq, with the lower, I pulled 471 hp 529 tq. For some reason you don't get the hp numbers out of the lower but you certainly get the torque. One reason is look at the way the car levels off in terms of hp at 5500 rpms. Mine does the same thing!! Why when you add the lower does the car quit making power at 5500?? With my 2.8 alone, it made power up to 6200. Find the answer, please let me know!!!

this is speculation, but I think I do know what it is. It's the Eaton blower. Once you push that much boost at that rpm, the blower becomes very inefficient. That is the prime reason the torque drops down so fast. And everyone knows that hp is a function of tq, so when tq dies down the hp will stop rising.

is the 4# lower with the 2.76 upper even worth the risk? Is the sotp really noticible? How many car lengths do you think you picked up with the 4# lower?

Guys with 280 uppers add TQE with 4 lb lower ,,But don't add MPH at the track..
Cars with 293pulleys and no lower make just as much MPH..
I personally think you guys get a little nuts with these Dyno's..
Why the hell do you guys want to put all that heat in your intake charge...

I didnt realize he had a lower. That explains the low end torque. You would think with it being heat soaked the numbers would go down. How much time was there between pulls?

15-20min....my mph may not go up by much, but my et will go down. On my shakedown run when I broke my gatortrash belt i ran 3 tenths faster. I ended up running a 12.39 @ 114 with a broken belt halfway down the track (let off towards then later hal fthen hit it again).

I'm going to the track on Sunday and I will gurantee you that I will dip into the 11's :)

If I were you I would try the 2.75 pulley without the lower. My car makes 30 more hp then you and only about 6 pounds of torque less. Good luck

i did, but the car is totally different with the 4lb lower. And you also have to remember that peak numbers aren't everything...the area under the curve is more important. What mods do you have? I'm thinking of adding a Throttle Body. Then when rick get's his dyno installed he is going to fine tune my beast :)

Your car is like my buddy's. His car isnt making all the HP in the world, in low 470's but the tq #'s are just Freakin insane. Like 520's or something.

I also have a question about your Xpipe setup. Did you have to call VRS and get them to custom make your setup??? Or did they already have it in stock?

I bought mine used from a user on svtperformance. But VRS does make a system in stock (on their website atleast), they even have a 3inch system, but it's 400 bucks for a catted system.
