HOW DO YOU TELL IF THE TEFLON COATING IS WEARING OFF OF YOUR ROTORS?HOW LONG IS IT SUPPOSE TO LAST & WHAT IS THE MAIN USE FOR IT?
I HAVE SEEN TEFLON WEAR OFF STARTING @ 5-10 K ON SOME CARS AND OTHERS HAVE VERY LITTLE [email protected] 50 TO 60 K. HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO HAVE THE ROTORS RECOATED? CAN THIS BE DONE YOURSELF OR DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE CHARGER REWORKED? THANKS JUST THOUGHT THIS WOULD HELP A LOT OF EATON OWNERS OUT. THANKS FOR ANY INFO COBRA1906:scare: MY BAD MAYBE IT IS GRAPHITE BUT THE ROTORS STILL SHOW DISCOLORATION FROM BLACK TO GRAY.

Cobra M112's do not have teflon coating they are graphite coated. 99-04 Lightning's have teflon coated M112 rotors and the teflon would flake off over time and end up sitting on top of the IC.
