I currently have a Bassani CB, and I am wanting to drop in some Flowmaster Super 40s. I am wondering if anyone knows if a same side offset Flow will bolt straight in? Is the overall length on the Bassani the same as the Super 40? Has anyone done this swap? Also I would prefer to use clamps instead of welding.

I put super 44's in my bassani catback. The offsets work but you have to weld some different ends on the mufflers to get them to slide into the bassani pipes. The flowmaster are made to have the pipe slide into them.

Did you use the double offset on the same side? I would prefer not to have them welded, but I am happy that the cans will fit in the same area.

Yeap same side offset. You don't have to weld them into the catback, you just cut off the pipe on the muffler and weld a regular 2.5 pipe onto the muffler. The bassani pipes slide over that and then you reuse your clamps. Know what I'm talking about?
