I bought a used Accufab T-Body & Inake Plenum. It appears to have a little grit/sand in the mouth of the Throttle Body. I've wiped most of it out but I'd like it perfect. Can I spray it down with anything? Water?

Spray it down with anything........use brake parts cleaner etc. If that won't work you could wet sand it with some 2000 grit........or try some rubbing compound (light cut).

If your cleaning the inside , you can use a rag to wipe it out, then use compressed air to get the junk out of the corners, then wipe again.

If your "re-polishing" the outside, use "Mothers polish", you can even use Toothpaste in a pinch.

Hope this helps

Thanks guys..........I'll look into the Valvoline stuff, if not I'll just spray it down with some water and wipe it out. I'm cleaning out the inside and just don't want crap getting into the engine and before I did something stupid I just wanted to check.

;)
