Did KB actaully warn you about this or were we suppose to be sitting at a stop light at 3k?

If so is there a preference that the set-up prefers, or do both Billet flow and Accufab both fix the problem...

Is there another fix besides buying a single blade TB?

Just trying to figure out the budget when it's time to get my KB set-up...

Its not actually broken and doesnt require a "fix". KB offers 2 styles of inlet, one for the stock TB and one for the big oval. The guys that are having idle problems were using a stock TB on a blower with a big oval inlet....usually a shipping error on KB's part but most dont realize it till the KB is installed and instead of pulling it off and getting a replacement they opt to just get the big oval TB.

Do guys have problems w/ big oval TB's mated to stock size KB inlets?

If you knew the difference between a car with a Single blade TB versus one without......You wouldn't think twice about getting one!

SINGLE BLADE TB

You MUST use the correct inlet manifold with either the stock or single blade TB. It is like tying to put a single blade on a stock inlet manifold. IT WILL NOT WORK.

Yes, as AMB, stated you have to use the correct TB for your inlet, so if you have a KB, make sure to check the inlet tube before you put it on. The inlet designed for the stock TB will have 2 holes with an upside down triangle at the top upper edge of the holes as you are looking at the end the TB mounts to. The inlet for the big oval will simply be a big oval.
