7.25 in the 1/8th should of been a 11.20-11.30 pass maybe more. Did you miss a gear. ??

Nope, didn't miss a gear. Was granny shifting, if that has anything to do with it.. Oddly enough, it felt as though the second half of the run went better than the first half. Oh well.

Yeah, something is DEFINATELY killing you up top, Grover. Maybe something in the tune / computer is retarding timing up top.

When I first put the KB on my car with 17 PSI, I went to Cecil with Nitrous Pete. The tune was not good (was making about 560 RWHP) and I ran with stock F1's.

With a 2.0 60', I ran an 11.70 @ 125 and had to petal the $hit out of second.

Look into the tune...that's most likely what's killing you. You came out good and dragged the hell out of the bottom half of the track.

With a good chip and some practice, you'll dip into the 10's for sure.

Not a bad start. Getting the most out of these cars is not easy, especially when you add lots of HP in one step, without the chance to drive the car with incremental HP increases.

Your car must have been pulling like a raped ape from the 330 to the 1/8th!

On my 11.410 pass, 330 to the 1/8 took 2.539 me seconds, to your 2.197!

Yeah, that is something! :shocked

That may have been the 3d gear pull?

I wonder if his clutch is heating up and slipping badly...could be that too.

Grover,

Was this at the FFW event?? Since your 1/8 mile MPH is screwy, I wonder if your 1/4 mile ET was off on the computer as well.

It just doesn't add up!

Yea, I know, if the 1/8 was 104.54mph then I must have hit a wall between the 1/8 and 1/4. No?

104mph in the 1/8th is well into high 120's low 130's.

96-97mph = 120-122

So it's not that far off then? (125.35mph)
I was granny shifting, I must have really taken my time getting into 4th?

If it did run 104 in the 1/8 that would mean its only picking up 21mph from 1/8 to the 1/4, my N/A 93 Cobra with stock heads and a cam would pick up 22, you should be picking up a ton more mph, I agree with Hammer something is screwy in the mph dept!

Thats a killer sixty foot time. What did you launch at? I couldnt get below a 2.0 sixty foot. Of course, the track prep was awful at LVD.

That is weird as hell tho. Do you have a dynosheet to study.
