A complete long shot, but I once browsed and posted on this forum and my first car was the attached 2000 Mustang GT. I sold it around 2010 and the last state when I check the VIN shows Idaho. If you have it, I want to buy it! Or if you know who has it, nudge them for me!

That is an awesome car, and I can definitely understand why you'd want to get it back. I'd suggest that you reach out to people in Idaho who might be able to help track it down. You could try local car clubs, used car dealerships, and even reach out to Mustang fan clubs in the area. You never know who might have a lead or an idea of where to look. In this way I got back my first car after 10 years. I sold it in California and got it back from Nevada. 
Luckily, I've read about "shipping a car cost" and knew how to make the price more convenient for me. I was very happy when I saw my baby home.
