So I'm trouble shooting my car and I'm down to one code. P1233 ( FPDM offline etc..). They local dealership didn't have one in stock and could not get me one until Tuesday. So I went down to Pick-and-pull and bought two out of 99' Escorts assuming they are all the same. I figured it would not hurt seeing they were 9 bucks each and I needed them today. Can anyone clarify if I in fact wasted my time and money on these even though they do in fact fit. OR if they will transfer between the models and my issue is elsewhere.

I did more research and from what I read they have the same pin outs and overall wiring. It's believed the only difference is in the brackets that mount them.
