i have 93 coupe mustang i have a cobra motor with a marauder intake. my question is i found a 97 mustang gt for a grand runs but looks rough. i am thing of taking all wiring out and putting it in my coupe what is everyones thought on using a 97 gt wiring harness for a mod fox swap?

There is a couple different opinions on which way you should go.
IMO, just use the engine harness and splice it to the fox dash harness.
I see no point in disturbing the wiring in the entire car.

i was under the impression that most everyone just put the whole car harness in when doing a swap like this i am using the fox interior and cluster so maybe the engine harness swap is my best bet

Well, i've been reading here quite a while, and seems it's done both ways. I assure you from a labor intensive standpoint, it's way less work to just wire the engine harness to the fox dash.

I think guys use the entire harness because they don't want to get involved in splicing and sorting out the wires.
