Mustang idle problems

I have a 2001 Mustang gt. This winter i put cams in my car and a stall converter combined with the bolt ons from before. After i got the car all put back together(major pain in the ass) the car will not idle right. Today i took off the idle control sensor and cleaned it and that didnt work. Im starting to think the the car needs more air, it seems kinda choked down it has all bolt ons except trottle body and a plenum. So is that possible why my car isnt idleing right.

I moved your thread to the appropriate forum.

You are exactly right that you car isn't getting enough air. The calibration in your PCM has the idle airflow values defined for a stock car. While the PCM can adapt some, there are limits as to how far the PCM can try to correct the issue. You will need to have the car tuned to correct the idle.
