Hi all,

Came here to find info on Cobra IRS. I like to do my own work and make my own parts. Usually I make it myself because I can't afford to buy it. I should have a degree in reverse engineering. I bought the car as a I6 Auto, swapped in a 302/C4, then a 351w and T5.
2 years ago I decided to build a 408W, which ended up as a 408 Clevor, a 408W with 351C heads. I found a 2004 Viper T56 locally and mated it to the Ford without a kit, lots of measuring and research. I've finished the car 3 times already and each time I keep out-doing myself.

Current projects:
Cobra IRS with homemade upgrades
-diff brace and bushings
-modded subframe
-modded cross strap
-shock mod
-3.73s
-gear oil cooler
-brake ducting
13" Cobra front brakes grafted onto Granada spindles
17x9 275/40-17 all the way around
1" flares front and back
Electric speedo sensor

Latamud, welcome to the board. Have you looked at the center section from the supercoupes? Its an 8.8 you could buy one of those cheaper,I believe the after market stuff will fit the same, just might save a few pennies. Oh yeh Ive got one should u decide to go that route. Send me some pics or post some ,your project sounds very interesting. Good Luck.
