We are happy to announce a new addition to our highly acclaimed line of belt tensioners. After hearing from many of our dealers who had major problems with stock belt tensioners we designed a tensioner specifically for those who want to test their cars for high performance with peace of mind. After breaking 4 stock tensioners Paul of Paul's High Performance installed our tensioners on two of his racing cars. After 1480 miles under racing conditions our tensioners worked flawlessly on both cars. Paul couldn't be happier.

Gt500

Bill, I am sorry I was not clear earlier. The tensioner is definetely for the GT500.

The references to 8 Rib set up or a 6 Rib set up are copied by mistake and we are trying to correct it thru the webmaster.

Please call Peter (our technical director) if you have any other questions
(862) 210-8512 or if you prefer that we call you please let me have your telephone number.

All the best,
Tino

After taking Carbd86GT advise and remove the upper pulley she bolted right up, taking that pulley off was much easier than bitching, go figure! I used about a 3/4" longer bolt, check the torque of the spring and found it to be greater than stock which made me happy and with the smaller pulley she had a long throw and that was good. So forget what ever bad I said she looks to be a GREAT piece! Thanks!!!!!!!!!! Bill

Just hammered the car at the track. Now have a squeeling noise that sounds like a hurt bearing coming from the area of the tensioner. Is this most likely the problem? Thanks for any help guys.

There is a thread on TS about belt slipping and glazing, which results in squealing or chirping.

It's a giant PIA. :mad2:
