I looked in the TToC thread but did see anything but it seems that there was a diagram showing the oil routing through the engine. I am curious if there are different ports that could be used to read oil pressure and possibly get different readings.

More specifically how/when the port on the oil filter adapter gets it's oil and what get oil pressure after this port.

On my 2V with Cobra Iron Block: is there a port I can tap into that lies between the crank oiling and head oiling or even after the head?

My turbos are fed from the oil filter adapter so it looks like this port is before the crank. To fix the oiling issues I had with oil getting into the downpipes and intake pipes from the turbo seals, I designed the turbo oiling as a return system just like a return style fuel system where the oil psi to the turbos is limited via a regulator. Feeding the turbos is a 1/4" od line from the adapter then a larger line returns excess oil back to the oil pan. This setup has solved my issues of oil getting past the seals but I would prefer to have the crank get full oil pressure if possible, so I would like to tap into a port after the crank gets oiled if possible.

To my knowledge, there are none on the front of the block that is not covered by the timing cover. Try teeing off the pressure line going to the block from the oil filter. Place your oil pressure regulator in that line, not in the main oil feed line. It will have no impact on the engine oiling.
This is the one I'm using. Is this the one you're thinking of?
