im thinking im going to have mine sanded and painted(same color as the car) ...has anyone done this before and if so post some pics please

I just bought some used Cobra mirrors and had them painted. Don't have any pics but it looks much better.

did mine with a fence painter, came out spot on.

Personally I believe it looks better on dark cars than lighter cars. if I had a red car like yours I'd find a set of cobras because the black on the base helps break the coloring up.

i see what you are saying ..my friend is painting them for nothing so i have nothing lose..if i dont like them then i would go for the cobra mirrors
