Anyone ever do this? I'm thinking of cleaning mine up a bit and throwing some color on it. I'm wondering if it will hold up and not make it retain any extra heat. And ideas?

I base/cleared my eaton and it is fine. Thing gets scorching hot to. I would see no problems as long as you use a decent basecoat and clear or single stage.
