Anyone know the piston to deck clearance on the 3V head? I get different numbers everywhere I look. I think it is .008" (below the deck) but don't know for sure. Thanks. (Trying to calculate a combustion ratio).

If you want to accurately calculate the compression ratio, you need to measure the piston to deck clearance on your assembled short block. Because the deck clearance will change when your engine builder decks the block and with new pistons and rods it should be checked.
