I melted number 8 tip (ground strap)again no clue why a/f 10.8-11.1 with 15* Im makeing 17 psi and using tr6 plugs. Its only number 8. But the plug looks like its getting enough fuel. Should i go to a colder plug?

i get tr6 too my a/f is 14.5 when cruising and 10.5 wot but i blew all 8 plug in 3000 miles im now asking if im not going in a hotter range?!?!

i will follow this tread and hope someones with more experience than us can give an answer...

it could just be the tune. I melted a few tr6 plugs, then switched to br7ef plugs and melted those too. it ran like crap after that so i pulled the motor apart and found a melted spark plug boss as well

I've had no issues since I swithced to br7ef plugs.
The #8 cylinder is the hottest when there's no cooling mod.

I would do the cooling mod first, it can't hurt. I actually need to stop being lazy and do mine

edit; it was not the range of spark plug but the way i set up my mass air flow.... he got turbulance and cant read right so the car was nasty.... this car is a weekly school lol
