I am trying to solicit ideas for my suspension upgrade when I return to the states. As of now the car will get Full length SFC's different bushings etc for the IRS, upgraded tierod ends X2 balljoints etc. What I am having a hard time deciding on is weather or not to go coilovers or springs. I also plan on keeping the IRS so a solid rear axel is not an option for me.

My goal with the car is ~600rwhp at the tires. It will essentially be a street car and not a daily driver but more of a weekend warrior.

Seeing how I do not know where I will be stationed when I return to the states I do not know I will have access to a track or not even so the car will probably only see a bit of track action.
So should I go coilovers or springs.

Thanks
Frank

I would say if you are rarely going to be going to the track, just get some good lowering springs and call it a day. Coilovers are overkill on a street car and in my opinion would be a waste of money that could be spent elsewhere.
