I am new to 4v engines. I read that high octane fuel like 110 burns too slow and would mess with computer and sensors, hurting horsepower and slowing the car down. Is this true? If this is not true should I change spark plugs to run the 110 octane? If I should change spark plugs what plug and what gap should I run. The motor is all stock.

I will field this one.
Any octain over that which is required to prevent detonation is a waist of money and will cost you power.
Octain does not make power. It allows you to build higher cylinder pressure with out detonation and that is what makes power.
If you have a all stock motor like you say there is no way in hell you will need 110.

fuel

i only use the fuel quality that is needed for the application, a stock or nearly stock engine only requires the pump 93-94 octane stuff.......any more will result in less power.....hermann
