I'm shifting into 4th near the end of the 1/4 due to my 4.10's.
To fix this, which would offer better gains:

1) Raising my rev limiter to 7500 RPM
(I would have my FordChip re-burned)

2) Swapping my 4.10's for 4.30's or 4.56's

3) Or do BOTH??? :D

Do the gear swap to 4.56's. I would also raise the rev limit on the chip and just play with your shifts to see where the car likes it the best. If you have no intake work, the car probably is not gonna gain anything over 7000rpms. The 4.56 gear is the best bang for the buck as far as ET is concerned.
