Recomend an Oil Pressure Sensor for MSPro

I want an oil psi sensor that I can plug into the MSPro and use it as a safety function: Low oil psi shuts things down, etc...

Any particular sensor that you recommend? I'm not sure what pressure this engine produces but I would have to assume a sensor that senses over 100psi may be needed. I'd also prefer a name brand vs getting something off Amazon.

thnx

Kevin,

Here is a 100 psi sensor from Autometer; click here => 100 psi Sensor Kit be sure to request their calibration data so you can program it into the MS3. Haltech shows a 150 psi oil sensor they sell on their website. A search will pull up a bunch of sensor providers with names like Honeywell, Bosch etc. I suspect the short way home would be either the Autometer sensor or the Haltech sensor.

Thanks Ed,
I was searching for over an hour last night and sticker shock set in.. These have really gone up in $$ compared to the last ones I purchased so I was hoping that someone had a secret on where to get them for less but that seems to be the going rate...crazy days..

Thanks for the heads up on that one, Ashford. The range of available sensors and the pricing is stunning (in a good way).
Yea, even the optional 15ft cable was only $7...

They also offer a pretty trick pressure/temperature sensor. I plan on incorporating this to replace my current oil pressure sensor at some point in the future.
If you haven't seen these sensors the price is right and I have five or six on my car and the cables are inexpensive too:

Those Low Dollar Motorsports sensors are high quality and at a very good price point. They also have a bunch of other stuff, like connectors, cables, etc that are priced right also.
