Does removing or disconnecting the front sway bar yield the same weight transfer improvement on an IRS car as it does a solid axle car?

It's something I keep forgetting to try when I go to the track, and I'm just wondering what to expect....

take it off the car totally, for the track. It reduces weight up front also help in weight transfer. Do you have race struts ar stock struts in front?
