I have a modded 95 T-bird 4.6l. Just recently (two days ago) I noted that there is a severe lack of acceletation in the 2500-3700 rpm range. The car just does not rev. The tranny is fairly new, 1 1/2 years with a J-modded valve body, a Mark VIII convertor and controlled but a Reinhart chip... The motor seems to rev fine while out of gear, and still performs fine from a stop. Any suggestions... here is a link to the car, page two has a complete list of mods if that would help.

Doubt it. Steve Dougan is running the same kit with all the same fuel system upgrades with alot more miles. At 5820 ft, I'm probally making less then 75 more ponies then stock with it.

Your chip effects your shift points on the trans.Pull the damn chip and see if it helps.:D Could be something going wrong with the valve body as well.
