I noticed before install of my LT headers shifting @ 6000 Gave me best times..Shifting higher i lost MPH.
Now with my JDM/KOOKs LT's i set shift light 200 RPM's more to get more Power.
I will be checking my old dyno charts.I think with the LT"s there might be a benefit with higher shift points.

Interesting thought Jim. I found the opposite to be true. Take in to consideration I've only made 4 runs with the l/t's. On one run I shifted about 6500 and kept it in 3rd through the hole run which was about 111 mph. All the other runs I shifted at 6200 and hit fourth near the end and ran in the high 112's. Next time out I'm gonna try shifting at 6000 and see what happens. Keep in mind if those mph's sound slow, this is at 6000 ft elevation!

gears man gears I know there a pain in the a$$ but they help alot I have 373's and I trap close to the upper parts of 4th gear and trap at about 199-126 depending on the launch
