hey guys... i'm thinking of changing up my turbo setup... i'm running a bone stock longblock. anyways, i currently have a pt88 gt91 hybrid... or a t4 flange'd 88mm precision with the 91mm compressor wheel with a .96A/R. I have decided that i want to try going the twin turbo route, and would appreciate some advice on a couple questions i had. I have two different setups in mind, either a pair of t4 flange billet 6262's or the t4 flange billet 6766's... any idea how the spool would compare to the huge snail i have now? What A/R would you guys recommend running on those? My goals are to see 1000whp, and i won't stop untill i get there. Also, what scavenge pump are you guys running on your setups? Will i be able to get away with a pair of 38mm WG's? Who makes a good intercooler with 2 inlets and a single outlet, that is reasonably priced? I love my treadstone that i have now... possible that i can plumb both turbo's compressor housings to merge together and retain my current TRV25 intercooler with a single inlet and outlet? thanks in advance!!!

thanks for the input boss! i'm definately going with billet 6262's... i'm going to get them with the v-band inlet as well. any input on what A/R i should go with for a half way decent spool?... and an approximate RPM that i will see those things come on? i'm undecided if i'm keeping the th400 in the car, or going to a tremec tr6060. thanks! btw... i did hours of research on the billet 6262 cobras, and there wasn't one post that turned up with any help on the A/R sizes...

yea, i'm pretty certain i will be keeping my th400 under there. shiat, i hope full spool comes sooner than that with my stock longblock. i don't see how in the world it could be lazier than my 91mm. do you have any thoughts on the t4 flange vs. the v band inlet flange? thanks again

yea, the price is the same, but it would be a lot easier to work with a v-band flange, and IMO... it seems ike it would flow better, but who knows? i guess the spool would be just as high as my t4 flange'd 91mm. i'm at full boost right at 4500rpm now. any idea on power comparison between the two setups...? i don't want to be down on power, boost for boost, with what i have now...

well, i have datalogged 150mph on my stock 26in tire height, with my 3.31's and th400... obviously my final gear is 1:1, so i figured that should put me at 150mph in 4th, theoretically... if i were togo back to the stick. i'm prettysure i'm keeping the th400 though

I guess I don't understand the change. Seems like a lot of work and $ when you could just fix the issues you're having with the 91mm (Like a different converter and/or work on the tune to help spool)
i didn't have any issues with my 91mm... and my tune was spot on. i just want to try something different. i enjoy the fab work... and as long as i keep the car, i'll be screwing with it!
