and I quote:

Dealer Warranties
Under Federal Law, vehicle manufacturers, dealers or agents cannot void vehicle powertrain or emissions warranties due to the presence of a properly installed Kenne Bell product. If a warranty is denied, contact the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at (202) 260-2080 or www.epa.gov or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at (202) 326-3128 or www.ftc.gov. Additional information is available at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association) website www.sema.org. Kenne Bell is a member of SEMA.
so that means the warranty is not voided? How is that possible?

Well I will take a stab at this....

(this same type of statement exists on some chip manufacturer sites as well)

All that contact this and contact that... still ends up.. in the long run.. that you hire a lawyer to fight it out with Ford.

:vomit:

Now if Kennebell came out and said... on our products... properly installed... etc etc. we will foot the cost of the lawyer in denied warranty claim suits you would have something.

Remember, love 'em or hate 'em, Ford has a history of daring folks to take them to court. Just look at the gas tank issues across all of their lines, the Explorer tire thing, etc. They take the stance that it is cheaper to settle out of court on those that carry the fight far enough, than to admit culpability and have to settle with EVERYONE.

Just one Ford driver's opinion mind you!
