Called and got all the detailed specs on the new haftshafts and thought I'd share it with everybody. Here they are:

1. the ford cv joint housing is cryogenically frozen to increase strength.

2. they use a 4340 chrome moly cage with patented internals. (this is where alot of problems start)

3. The shafts are smaller diameter and not necked down. they are also made of 300m steel and have rolled splines. this lets them flex and not break.

4. They eliminate the clips to strengthen the shafts.

5. they have a 1 year guarantee!!

Hope this answers all your questions.

Rick... how about price for parts and install. I think I have seen the cost for parts a few times. Just wanted to confirm. Sorry if you have posted elsewhere.

Hey Rick,
It's been a while, are these 31 spline or more? I emailed on this awhile ago and even got a return call, but I had forgoton about these. Are they available? Guess I'll give you a call.
