I was just reading the install instructions for the STEEDA Triax shifer and it says you need to add a 12 volt switch to allow you to engage reverse. Shouldn't this already be there on the original shifter or is this only for those back-fitting a T56 into their car without the solenoid? Does anyone else have info on this install that could help. I really don't want to have to flip a switch everytime I want to use reverse.

Thanks Gary, That makes it a whole lot easier now. I was suprised because I put shifters in my last 3 mustangs and never had to do that before.
