Hi I have an pretty much stock 02 gt its an automatic (also I like manuals better but no one’s ever taught me how to drive them) and the reason I’m making this post is because well because I’m 18 and don’t know to much about cars other than basics. the new edge mustang is my dream car and I was lucky enough to get one but it’s not enough of course 😂 so I want to boost it but I’m not looking for crazy power out of my 2v just around 380-450hp range. And I read that the 2v can only handle like 500hp so that was perfect for me so I’m wondering what is my best route for boost a turbo or supercharger also what would I all need to make that kind of power and how much are we talking money thanks

I wouldn't push the 4.6 2 valve past 425 hp personally. 8 to 10 psi is ok on a good tune from what I have seen anything more and it could be motor time. Automatics are awesome for drag racing and with a stall converter and some slicks can launch really well. A Vortech V3 supercharger tuner kit will get you around 400hp but will set you back $4,000 for the kit but you will also have to purchase a high flow fuel pump and upgraded injectors if I remember correctly. Also you will need to find someone to tune it, preferably dyno tune it. All in expect to be in it for 5k to 6k when it's all said and done. Hope this helps.
