I have stripped threads in my bellhouseing, is there an easy fix or one that would work without having to take the tranny/bellhouseing off?

If there is I'd like to know about it. Is it one of the starter bolts? I had the lower one strip out, just ran a longer bolt with a nut on the end.

no its not a starter its one of the lower ones where the opening is for the clutch, if i ran a longer one in there and put a nut on the end would it interfere with the clutch fork?

heli-coil... Drill it out larger per. heli-coil chart recommendations for the thread you stripped out. Tap it and insert the heli-coil. Its pretty simple to do. If its a bottom bolt hole it should be accessible enough to drill and tap

+1. You'll probably be better off dropping the trans atleast to get it done.
