Ok I am sure these have been asked and answered before, but I searched and couldn't find the answers so:

1) Can I mount 275/40/ZR-17's on the stock rear rims and not have any rubbing problems ect?

and

2) I have a set of wheels from a 93 Vette that would be perfect to mount a set of 275/45/ZR-17 drag radials on if I could find a way to get them to mount to the Ford rear axle. Does anyone make an adapter that will allow me to do that?

TIA

i dont know if this will help you...but can give you an idea...i am running 275/40/18 and i have eibachs spings.....i have no problems with rubbing......unless i have passengers in the backseat..then if i hit a bump hard enough the rear wheels rub.....as far as the fronts.....if i take a sharp turn......on an incline i rub the plastic in the fenderwell.....
