No matter which T-56 magnum you pick you are likely going to need to modify the drive shaft. Your clutch disc needs to mirror your input shaft. If you have the OEM input shaft you will need to replace the clutch disc with a 26 spline unit. If the existing clutch is relatively new all you need is a disc replacement compatible with the 23 spline input shaft. If the clutch has two or more years of service life on it replace the pressure plate also. One of the nicer clutch units available is the McLeod dual-disc unit.

With respect to the transmission ratios available, you want the one in the red box below;
Rectangle Font Circle Parallel Magenta

The 1010's gear spacing is very attractive and the 2.97:1 first gear in the 1011 box turns an already edgy first gear experience into a frightening nightmare. Although fifth and sixth are in fact overdrive gears, their ratios, in the 1010 box, make them feel like a logical next gear.

Did the 26 spline change the day the warranty went up in 2007. so that is no issue. But what do you mean drive shaft change. ours are aluminum, do we cut and balance or is the info?

You will most probably discover the required drive shaft is a different length.
