Found a cobra motor with a purple colored crank. Kellog? Looks like it spun a bearing and I can feel pretty bad step off. $200 do you guys think it’s worth it. Been sitting outside so it should have flash rust on the rings. Wrong heads for a 98 I think.

Depends on how much power you want it to make. The cylinders may require more than .020 over to clean up so it depends on future plans for the block.

This is a budget build. I wasn’t even planning on it. But it’s got some other parts as well. If he finds an intake I will definitely jump on it. I was just disappointed about the crank. I also have 2 complete mod motors. One is in the black turd I bought. Runs with some mild valve terrain noise @ 200000miles. The other is a locked up 2001 that I planned on using for a pi swap. It’s complete with 70 mm throttle body and shorty headers. Oh and 42lb injectors.
