I really want an auto setup, but the cost involved is out of my budget.

So I have been thinking about changing over to a T-56. Im pretty sure I can use the same 11" clutch, but what about my FRPP aluminum driveshaft??

Is there any difference between the T56 that came in the 03-04 cobras and the one D&D sells?

Search GRN00GT's posts. He did a T-56 swap in his GT, and did an excellent write-up on it. 11" clutch should work, and I am almost positive your driveshaft will work, not 100% positive.

You have to upgrade the 26spline. You can get them from Lethal for good prices.

The D&D kit uses the FRPP aftermarket/Viper output shaft and associated output housing. So the tranny mount is different, but Prothane does make a mount for that style of OPS. You need a new D/S as the FRPP one is meant for the 3650/t-45 not a T-56. I'm sure Chip will chime in soon.

I just got off the phone with D&D. Their kit come with the trans, bell housing, shifter, cross memeber and alunimum driveshaft. Can also upgrade to a 26 spline for 300 more.
