Does anyone know if i have to modify the crossmember for the 3550 to fix my 96 gt? Also i am hearing a few different things about the driveshaft. Do i need a 94/95 or do i just need a spacer and a new yoke?

Thanks

Well, I just bought a TKO for my 2001 and they told me that I have to modify the crossmember. Also, I got an aluminum driveshaft which does require a spacer, so I assume the stock one will as well since they are the same length. Hope that helps, I know they are different years.

With a 3550 you'll need a different driveshaft the stock 96-03 has 31 splines and the 5.0's have 28 spline. The 3550 has 28 spline rear output shaft like the 5.0's and the TKO has a 31 spline rear output shaft like the 96-03 modular cars. You can keep your same clutch and pressure plate.
