Tri-Ax shifters - Do they have built in stops?

I was wondering if they did and if so did any of you remove them like it states on Tremec website?

They have stops that can be adjusted and if adjusted correctly wont interefere and do not need to be removed, they will add a touch of safety thats all. I have the tri-ax myself and am very happy with it.

Yes they have adjustable stops like the Pro-5.0. I have had the Tri-Ax on mine for over a year now and have absolutely no probelm with the stops set correctly.

I assume the give you directions on how to set the stops or do you just guess when shifting?
Yes they provide directions. What I did was install it and leave all of the boots off and set the stops. Then drive around the block and make sure you don't have a problem getting into gear if you do adjust and try again. When done install all of the boots.
