Well, tommorrow my two-way satellite from DirecWay will be installed. I can't wait to get off this dial up connection, as I am used to being on a 3 megabit cable connection. I moved back in with my parents so that I would be able to go to college fulltime, but there is no broadband out this way.

I had a DirecPC one way satellite a year or so ago, and it was very impressive, on several occasions I saw internet speeds around 2 megabit opposed to the advertised 400 kilobit.

I will keep you guys posted.

Aren't the upload speeds of satellite still a max of 56k?

Just got the dish up.

First results

1.8 megabit down, 63 kilobit up.

Yeah Razor the upload sucks, but it beats dial up, the phone lines here are horrible. I can only connect at 26.4 k on dialup
Cool man. I looked into satellite myself a while back. I was just wondering if they found a way to speed the uploads a bit yet.

Razor.
