Just curious what the result would be if you took a 4.6 32 valve and attached a garrett .42 compressor with a 1.0 exhaust housing. Power expectations and if and how quick it would boost.

I need a turbo that will hit high torque VERY quickly. Don't care about big numbers but the build will need to produce about 500/550 fwhp/tq. I would like it to spool at 3k and stay thru 5k. Lag will be a biggie on this one.

The new BB turbo's don't have any lag. Yoru hot side is way too big at 1.0 a/r. Don't be cheap and use a turbo designed for a truck. You want a 72MM compessor and a .86 hot side (t-72).. My old 302 based car made 612 TQ @ 18psi at 3800 RPM with similar turbo. I had a 68 mm turbo but it was too small for the combo.

With the goals you want, why not just use a ported eaton 03 cobra setup?
Numbers should be about 525/525 at the wheels.
Probably cost 1/4 as much too, and you would get your boost early.
