Okay, I have a set of 17x9 Black Chrome Cobra wheels on my Mustang, and I have decided that if I can, I want to put them on my 2004 Explorer. I plan to buy a set of 18x9/18x10 or 17x9/17x10.5 wheels for the Mustang. Can anybody tell me if the Cobra wheels will fit over the hub centric rings of the Explorer? I have checked out the backspacing and offset of the wheels, and they should work, putting the centerline of the wheel about an inch farther out than the stock wheels, maybe 1.5 inches. I am just unsure about the wheels fitting over the hubs. My Mustang is in Kentucky, so I can't just try the wheels to see if they fit. If anybody knows for sure they will work, I will buy the new wheels. I could run a thin spacer, but it will put the wheels out farther than I want. Thanks in advance!
