We're proud to announce that pricing has been finalized for the all new 2.9L Whipple Supercharger for the Shelby GT500.

The entire first batch of 25 kits has been allocated to Lethal Performance so we will be the first to ship them.

Whipple is known for building the most efficient Twin Screw superchargers on the market, and the new 2.9L blower for the 2007-2009 Shelby GT500 is no exception. The screw compressor is the best blower on the market today as its the only blower to offer maximum low end torque (torque is something the GT500 needs to get these pigs moving :thongue2: ) as well as high efficiency for top end horsepower. This blower will also be smog legal in CA, a CARB number will be available before the kits release. Now, onto the good stuff, the pricing :bigwink:

You can purchase the 2.9L a few different ways.

1. 2.9L Supercharger Only
2. 2.9L Supercharger with Cold Air Intake, 123mm MAF and 160mm Mono Blade TB
3. 2.9L Supercharger with Cold Air Intake, 123mm MAF with no Throttle Body.
We will be putting other kits together in the next few days which will include fuel system upgrades but what's listed already is how they will come from Whipple.

I have the first 2 options listed on the site already and will finish putting the 3rd option on the site tomorrow.

All 2.9L blowers come standard with a 3.25" pulley. For the first 25 kits our pricing will be as follows.

2.9L Supercharger (Black) $3514.99
2.9L Supercharger (Polished) $3942.49
2.9L Supercharger (Black) with CAI, 123mm MAF and 160mm Monoblade TB (Throttle bodies only come in black) $4654.98
2.9L Supercharger (Polished) with CAI, 123mm MAF and 160mm Monoblade TB (Throttle bodies only come in black) $5082.48
2.9L Supercharger (Black) with CAI, 123mm MAF with no Throttle Body $4113.48
2.9L Supercharger (Polished) with CAI, 123mm MAF with no Throttle Body $4540.48

FREE SHIPPING ON THE ENTIRE FIRST BATCH.

We anticipate a ship date of 3/15/09. It may be sooner than that but that's all we can offer you right now.

If you would like to pre-order a kit we ask that you call in and have your name placed on the list. We will not accept a reply to this post or a PM as a way to reserve a kit.
Your names will be put on a list and you will not be billed until the kits are ready to ship. This is first come first serve so if you want one make sure to call as 25 kits isn't a lot and we don't expect them to last long.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask and we'll do our best to respond in a timely manor.

Thanks,
Derek

2.9

Nice JAred. With that low on timing it should easily do 675 at 18 degrees. As you know they love the timing! Is that Justins ride?

Nice flat torque curve! Can you repost the graph with rpm on the x-axis? Power keeps going up right to the end of the pull. Looks like it might have made even more if it was wound up higher. (Not sure where you're rpms would be though.)

The wait is almost over!!

The first 2.9L Shelby kit will be shipping to Lethal Performance tomorrow. The remaining kits on pre-order will start shipping Wed of next week. Hope you guys are ready to make some powa!!

If there's anyone on our list that hasn't contacted us with their billing and shipping info please make sure to do so as we obviously can't ship your kit until they're paid for.

Thanks, Jared
