I have an opportunity to buy a Saleen Extreme Aluminum driveshaft at a great price.

What will I have to to to make it fit? Is it just a simple yoke change?

The most important thing is that it's the proper length.

Thanks,
Alan

Red Devil said it wouldn't fit, but wasn't sure if changing the yoke was the solution.

I saw another member on here selling one who claims it's just a simple yoke change, but his for sale thread isn't concrete.

I don't want to buy it if it's not right.

Anyone have a picture of a stock style drive shaft?

I'm not sure what the differences would be between one for a 6060 and the 5 speed in my car. If the length is the same and it's a simple yoke change away, that's easy.

I could just use the parts off the stock drive shaft and call it a day.

That's what I did when I used the 04 cobra drive shaft in my 98. The tail shaft was fine, but the companion flange for the rear is different. It was a 20 dollar fix. :)

Hmmm....

Check this out:

That's what I'm being offered.

Thoughts?

No those will not work. Those are for an Extreme equipped with a T56 and not a TR6060. Your transmission does not have a slip yoke.

Yeah, exactly.

OH, and the clutch went in last night. Aside from some issues with needing a re-bleed of the TOB system, it's absolutely awesome.

I can't wait to get it broken in.

Pretty good price, though.

He said he'd sell them for 150 plus 25 to ship.

If only... *ugh*

They are on EbayMotors. I saw the same ad by doing a search on Saleen
