use a hair dryer on hot and work it on with a flat blade screwdriver and pliers and you'll get it on it just takes patience

Take a blowtorch and burn the F'in things!!!LOL I bought a pedal set 3 years ago and have yet to install them for the simple fact that they don't want to go on! I think I'm going to invest in a nice set of the screw on variety!

 

It's at the top of my list. I'm sorry I ever pulled the old one off. I might just cut the back off and glue it on. The worst that can happen is that it falls off.

boil it in water, shoot a dab of soapy water on before puttin it on. it will go, you just have to loosen it up a tick

 

Yeah I used a flat-tip screwdriver for mine. I tore the rubber up a little bit, but it went on. Quite frustrating I agree, especially in the position you have to be in to put it on!

 

Tell me about it sonic!!!! You have to be a contorsionist to get in there and your back hates you when your done!

 

Thanks for all the advice, I'll try that boiling it in water and soap deal.
