The sporty brake pedal pad was wearing, so I bought a new one. The old one came off easy enough, but I can't get the #$%^&? thing on. Any suggestions?

Take a blowtorch and burn the F'in things!!!LOL I bought a pedal set 3 years ago and have yet to install them for the simple fact that they don't want to go on! I think I'm going to invest in a nice set of the screw on variety!
It's at the top of my list. I'm sorry I ever pulled the old one off. I might just cut the back off and glue it on. The worst that can happen is that it falls off.
Then I'll take a blowtorch and burn the F'in things!
Yeah I used a flat-tip screwdriver for mine. I tore the rubber up a little bit, but it went on. Quite frustrating I agree, especially in the position you have to be in to put it on!
Thanks for all the advice, I'll try that boiling it in water and soap deal.
