I had my transmision and clutch beefed up to handle the extra power I want to put to the car they did the input and output shafts went through the trans from front to back put in all heavy duty parts I have a DFX clutch with an alum flywheel the problem I have now is I have a vibration from like 85 on up to over 100 and its driving me crazy any sugestions I was thinking maybe the drive shaft but at this point not really sure I am going to talk to Don Walsh performance about replacing it with a new light weight one I was also thinking maybe rims and tires but it happened right after Pauls High Performance got done with the trans rebuild so I do not know if the drive shaft is 180 out or not and I do not want to take the car to them any more because of all the problems I had with them and the level 5 halfshafts so any sugestions

Rims and Tires would most likely start around 50-55mph. Since you had the drivetrain worked on that's where I would start looking. Sounds like you could be on the right track with the driveshaft. Anything further and I'd take it back to who did the work.

SONIC -

Can you possibly post the contents of that Driveshaft TSB ?

Try rotating the Drveshaft 180 degrees. It was 100+ mph is where mine started. Rotated the DS and it went away. Also if you have a moderately worn set of Drag Radials on the rear that will also cause problems abovee 100. Elsewhere in the thread see the TSB of a New driveshaft. I asked someone to post the contents of the tsb

Instead Of Moving It 180 Try Indexing It 90 Degrees And Then Go Out And Test Drive It To See If It Is Any Better-if Not Move It Another 90 And So On To See If It Gets Any Better

Here is the ssm, it is a 2 phase process.

17248 2003 MUSTANG COBRA - DRIVELINE VIBRATION
SOME 2003 MUSTANG COBRAS MAY EXHIBIT A VIBRATION WHILE DRIVING. IF THE VIBRATION IS FELT AT 45 MPH AND INCREASES IN INTENSITY AS SPEED INCREASES, REPLACE THE REAR AXLE ASSEMBLY (FORD PART# 241L). IF THE VIBRATION IS FELT WHILE DRIVING AT LEAST 65 MPH AND INCREASES IN INTENSITY AS SPEED INCREASES, REPLACE THE DRIVESHAFT (FORD PART# 2R3J-4602-AA). IF THE VIBRATION IS FELT WHILE DRIVING AT LEAST 65 MPH AND DOES NOT INCREASE IN INTENSITY, BUT IS CONSTANT AS SPEED INCREASES, THEN NEUTRALIZE THE EXHAUST SYSTEM AS STATED IN THE 2003 WORKSHOP MANUAL SECTION 100-04.

Did you go to Dynotech or CCI or other??

The driveshaft was certainly your problem.
