Read into it what you will.

BTW, I am just teasing all the "holy rollers" that run around "evangilizing" with that smug attitude that they know the way to eternal salvation, and everyone who doesn't listen to them is doomed.
That is why I asked for a clarification. What you posted sounds like you believe it is in ignorance that people turn to organized religion and I wanted clarification. Please don't attribute anything more than what I actually asked.

All organized religion does is allow ignorant people to run around saying "I'm right, your doomed" my X,000 year old (fictional) book says so.
Please straighten me out, are you saying that only ignorant people support organized religion?

I agree with you but to an extent, but I would rather have a chance to not buy something or boycott a company than have a huge chuck of my wages taken away automatically.

Besides where's the law that says the government is allowed to garnish our wages. The whole income tax was implemented during WWII to help fund the war but was never lifted, but there is no law requiring an American citizen to pay a direct unapportioned tax on their labor.......period

Anyway that's a whole other tangent for a different thread......
I bet you are related to this woman:

gawd, you are seriously dilusional... you need actual psychiatric help, no shit.

Either that, or you are pulling everyone's leg and your next move is to put together a group buy...

I used to not understand why so many people in this country bought into telemarketing schemes and pyramid schemes. I used to wonder at the popularity of the WWF (before they changed the name). I was curious about the mentality that thinks it is cheeper to buy a 6 pack at $6 than it is to spend $1 a can.

But I figured it out not to long ago.

Most Americans are MORONS.

Think of it this way:
The average American is pretty moronic. By definition, that means that half of the populace is even more moronic than he is.

We are a consumer culture. We consume goods, ideas entertainment, etc. The more extreme the good, idea, entertainment, etc, the more we consume. So, the Whopper is popular, but the Triple Whopper? Fake wrestling... 7 channels of home shopping (can't be convinced to get off of our collective fatasses to buy worthless crap)... crackpot ubsubstantiated conspiracy theories... all are more popular now than ever. And we believe that it is all real. Survivor, Big Brother, Hell's Kitchen, Top Chef, Real World, Road Rules... "reality TV"... but it isn't really reality... didn't you know that?

C'mon everyone, PLEASE take about 4 steps back from the edge and THINK.

For those that have already jumped off, start flapping or something... it can't hurt...
