Lowered guys - Do you cut your bumpstops?

I'm running Steeda sport springs and Tokico D-Specs?

Should I cut my rear bump-stops by one nubby?

Pic in about 3 minutes...BRB.

You can cut them but some have theorized that the oe bumpstops are progressive and as such they actually add needed "spring rate" as the suspension bottoms. When you cut that first nub off...your left with the harder material and a harsher impact. I'm running Steeda sports on my Vert(which sits lower than coupes with the sport springs) and I ended up using shorter replacement bumpstops from Eibach(same ones that come with their Sportline kits). I got mine from Summit Racing but Jegs also carries them. They're about 3/4" shorter than oe and are still compliant enough not to knock the teeth out of your head when you hit them. :)
